February 7, 1935 - December 25, 2019 R.I.P.
We lost Hume on Christmas Day, 2019. He died from complications of Alzheimer's disease in Trustbridge Hospice in Boca Raton, Florida. His last years were not very comfortable, so his passing provided Hume relief, may he rest in peace.
Hume had a love of life and found pure joy being with friends and family. He loved his family dearly and struggled considerably later in life as he found himself isolated from his children, sisters and brother.
Always ready to socialize, at a social event he was often larger than life as he could be heard across the room laughing and enjoying a good conversation. Hume loved his children unconditionally. He was a great cook, loved his pet dogs and enjoyed anything with a group of his friends – particularly a round of golf, a fishing trip, or excursion to Canada.
Everyone will miss Hume and it is with sadness than many members of the family never got to say goodbye. It wasn’t until he’d battled Alzheimer’s for some years and had several falls that he passed away. He is missed by all of us and we are lucky to have known him – he was an awesome guy.
